Local storytellers reflect on 2020RLT is teaming up with 7-Stories to present In Hindsight, 2020 - two evenings of community storytelling about the unprecedented year of 2020. Tune in January 29 & 30 at 8:00 PM to hear unique 7-minutes stories from the perspective of teachers, performers, students, politicians and more as they unpack the scars of 2020 and discuss hope for the future.

In Hindsight, 2020 will broadcast live on RLT’s Facebook page and YouTube channel each night and will be free to watch. Following the event, we encourage you to share your own stories about 2020 with the hashtag #InHindsight2020! Poster design by The Crawlspace Press. Upcoming classes & campsOur current session of classes started this week, and we’re excited to offer even more soon! Registration opens next Monday, February 1, for classes beginning the week of March 7. For this next session of classes, we are excited to offer both virtual weekday classes and some limited in-person options on Saturdays. Visit our class registration page next week to browse all of the new offerings. Students can also spend spring break with RLT with half day in-person camps and virtual classes for elementary students the week of March 29 - April 2. Check out our Spring Break Camps page for more information - registration opens February 1! Additionally, we plan on bringing back in-person summer camps! More details will be announced next month with registration opening in early March. With the health and safety of our community and students in mind, RLT has developed a thorough reopening guide. Teens on Stage / Teens Backstage info sessionsWant to learn more about this year’s Teens on Stage / Teens Backstage summer program and get your questions answered? Join RLT’s director of education, Meredyth Pederson Cooper for a virtual info session before you audition or apply. The sessions will be held on Zoom and include a program overview, Q&A, guidance on choosing a Shakespeare monologue, and tips on how to film your audition. Parents/Guardians are also welcome to attend with their student. RLT’s production of Caryl Churchill’s psychological thriller will be presented virtually through Broadway on Demand February 26 - March 6. The show about human cloning and family relationships stars David Henderson and Jesse Gephart and is directed by Patrick Torres. Learn more about the show on our website! Then we’re taking things back outside in March with a family-friendly production of Snow White! Presented in RLT’s outdoor Stephenson Amphitheatre, Snow White runs March 13-21 and is directed by Kathleen Rudolph. Learn about RLT’s safety precautions for in-person events here.
