We are starting the new year with a month filled with virtual theatre opportunities. Read on to see what’s coming up this January at RLT!

Breach of Peace - January 22 & 23

Mike Wiley’s Breach of Peace is coming up soon on January 22 and 23. This virtual performance takes place live over Zoom. Feel free to keep your cameras on while watching so Mike can see his audience! Unfamiliar with Mike’s work? Learn more about Mike Wiley here!

Breach of Peace is based on true accounts of surviving participants of the Freedom Rides as well as many other individuals involved in the early struggle for African-American equality. This solo-play, written and performed by Mike Wiley, is a living monument to those remarkable young men and women of various races, religions and backgrounds who rose to face the dangers of fighting for just and equal treatment for all. Learn more about the show by watching this behind-the-scenes video of a performance at Temple Theatre.

We’re excited to offer free talkbacks with Mike following each performance, so be sure to stick around after the show to discuss it further. Tickets for the show are $25 and can be purchased here!
