Outdoor family fun at “Elephant & Piggie” this weekend!

Musical for kids runs Oct 23-31 in the Stephenson Amphitheatre

Elephant & Piggie’s “We Are in a Play!” opens Saturday

Our Family Series kicks off this weekend with the opening of Elephant & Piggie’s “We Are in a Play!”. This musical features all your kids’ favorite characters and moments from the hit book series by Mo Willems and runs October 23-31 in our outdoor amphitheatre.

About the show: An elephant named Gerald and a pig named Piggie are the very “bestus” of friends! In this vaudevillian romp, Elephant and Piggie sing their way through a day where anything is possible. They go to a party hosted by the Squirrelles, wear silly hats, learn a new dance, and share ice cream! Their perfect day hits a snag when Gerald accidently breaks Piggie’s new toy and her feelings get hurt. Will their friendship withstand the tragedy of a broken toy?

Learn more about RLT’s bouncy and fun musical by listening to the WHUP interview (begins at 14:00), reading the BroadwayWorld article, and checking out the show preview from Beltline to Broadway.

Tickets are selling FAST so don’t wait until it’s too late to buy tickets! Show times are 1:00pm and 4:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays, October 23-31. The run time is approximately 60 minutes, with no intermission. Purchase tickets here!

Want to get involved? We are still looking for a handful of ushers and house managers to help out during the run of the show! If you’re interested in learning more, check out the sign-up instructions on our website or email Scott@RaleighLittleTheatre.org
