RLT’s 23-24 season is just around the corner!

Support Raleigh Little Theatre’s upcoming season by making a donation today

Dear friend of Raleigh Little Theatre,

What a season it has been! After a challenging few years, we are excited to be back into the swing of things with a busy and full slate of classes, camps, and live theatre productions. Every new season provides a moment of reflection and deep appreciation for our incredible community of patrons, students, and volunteers.

Throughout our 2022-23 Stepping Forward Season:

  • Over 18,000 people enjoyed live theatre performances with the help of over 550 volunteers!
  • Nearly 500 youth students & 100 adult students participated in RLT’s education programming
  • Teens on Stage/Teens Backstage students let the good times roll both on skates and by building an impressive phone booth on wheels in Xanadu
  • Pride and Prejudice was FINALLY performed on the RLT stage after NOT ONE but TWO cancellations
  • Fancy Nancy: The Musical dazzled and inspired young audiences and taught us our new favorite song and dance - the Shark Rap!
  • With the help of the amazing folks at Wake Tech, a real pickup truck made its way to the Sutton stage, ready for its debut in Hands on a Hardbody

As we reach the end of our 2022-23 season, we are looking ahead to our 2023-24 Finding Home Season. This new season is incredibly ambitious, and we will definitely need your help to make it all happen! Your generous donation to RLT will support:

  • Bringing eight extraordinary shows to RLT’s stages for the first time
  • The creation of over 100 (!!) costumes for Curtains, this season’s opening musical
  • An imaginary dragon fight in Last Stop on Market Street and more magical creatures in Puffs!
  • The 39th annual holiday production of Cinderella
  • Sourcing roughly 20 size 12-14 fabulous high heel boots for the cast of Kinky Boots, and building a conveyor belt from scratch for the factory
  • The development of more educational opportunities that prioritize underrepresented communities within theatre
  • …and so much more!

Visit our website to make a one-time donation (truly, any amount helps!) or set up a recurring monthly donation. You can also call 919-821-4579 x 230 to make a contribution if you prefer to give over the phone or would like to arrange a time to stop by in person.

Thank you in advance for any amount that you are able to give. I cannot wait to see you at the theatre!

Sincerely,

Heather J. Strickland, RLT Executive Director
