New Summer Camp Added!!!Due to overwhelming interest in our summer camps, we are excited to announce that we have added another two-week camp for students in Grades 1-3. See information below: Kids on Stage: Exploring Folktales, Fables, and Fairytales (Grades 1-3) Students will be building a performance using their bodies, voices, and imaginations through various folktales, fables, and fairytales. They will use acting skills, ensemble building, prop building, and collaboration to learn how to tell a story. Register today before the camp fills up! Adult Summer IntensivesOur adult summer intensives will happen July 8-19. These classes are designed for adults who want to give acting a try or revisit the basics in order to improve their technique. It’s a great introduction to our adult classes without the multi-week commitment! Registration is open on our class registration page. Check out some of our offerings below:
Teens on Stage/Teens Backstage updates! This year’s Teens on Stage/Teens Backstage (TOS/TBS) program is producing Thornton Wilder’s Our Town (Multilingual) with translated passages by Nilo Cruz and Jeff Augustin that will be performed in the Gaddy-Goodwin Teaching Theatre July 25 - August 4. Tickets are on sale now and start at only $6! We are looking for a few more students to round out our TOS and TBS groups! Read below for information on the available roles and how to express interest or audition. We hope you’ll join us this summer! Teens on Stage
Teens Backstage We are looking for 2-4 more participants in the Teens Backstage program. Participants will gain experience in all areas of technical theatre (set construction, costuming, lighting, sound and prop making) through rotating master classes and mentorship from the design team in creating all technical elements of the production. Teens Backstage participants then move into a focus area as technical rehearsals begin and then serve as the run crew with a specific role for all performances. Learn more about the program here. If you are interested in auditioning, please contact Terra Hodge at terra@raleighlittletheatre.org. |
