Nate the Great is on the case!We hope everyone is having a great 2024 so far! January is already halfway over, and that means Nate the Great will be here soon. Don’t wait to get your tickets for this fun-filled musical! About the show: Nate the Great, the world’s greatest boy detective, awakes, hoping that this day will bring a new case. He gets a call from his good friend Annie alerting him that her new painting of her dog Fang is missing! He rushes over to her house to investigate. For the first time in his career, he is stumped. And worse yet, Mom is all out of pancakes. To solve this case, he is going to need to learn to think in new ways and rely on the help of his friends. Nate the Great is a funny, sweet, rollicking good time that celebrates art, friendship, creative thinking, and of course, pancakes. Based on the beloved book series by Marjorie Sharmat. Nate the Great is directed by Kathleen Rudolph and runs February 2-18 in RLT’s Sutton Theatre, including a sensory-friendly performance on February 10. Tickets start at $14. Head to our website to learn more! Want to help Nate solve the case? Volunteer! We have several backstage and front of house opportunities to help the World's Greatest Boy Detective solve the case of the missing painting. You can sign up to join a backstage crew here, or visit our Hosted Groups site for front of house opportunities. BYO pancakes! Community Conversation with Michele tomorrow
The event will begin with a reception held in the Gaddy-Goodwin lobby at 7:00pm, followed by a Q&A inside the theatre at 7:45pm. Refreshments will be served. Please RSVP to let us know if you plan on attending. Hope to see you there! Winter who? It’s Summer Camp time! Our Winter/Spring class and spring break camp registration is currently open (there’s still time to sign up!), and you don’t have to wait much longer to register for summer camp! Our award-winning summer camps return this June - August! Registration opens Thursday, February 1, and camps fill up quickly. Plan ahead by checking out the summer camp schedule on our website. We have several offerings for age 4 - Grade 9, plus our annual Teens on Stage/Teens Backstage program for high schoolers returns this summer as well. The production title will be announced very soon! Bookmark our registration page so you’ll be ready on February 1! We’re hiring!RLT is looking to expand our team of extraordinary part-time Box Office Associates! Box Office Associates act as the first point of contact for most RLT patrons and are a part of welcoming them into our theatre community. At assigned performances, your work will include maintaining box office operations, assisting patrons with ticket sales and questions, and supporting front of house operations and volunteers. We are hoping to hire three new associates, and application review will begin in February. Learn more and apply here! Additionally, we are currently hiring several technical and teaching roles for our Teens on Stage/Teens Backstage summer education program. TOS/TBS is designed to further students’ theatrical training by connecting theatre classes to production work and to develop students as theatre artists by connecting theatre to the world and society. Check out the available opportunities here! Megan Farrell, Marketing Manager
